Warm welcome to all, who are here to give it a read. It’s going to be as adventurous as the title is. My roller coaster ride is what my life was before joining this amazing three months program. Yes, you heard it right. I am talking about the AMAL fellowship program. If you are not aware about it. Just give a read to my last blog. So are you ready to be the part of my roller coaster ride journey.

Pretending to be happy when you’re in pain is just an example of how strong you are as a person

Stepping in!!😬

Having been selected for the fellowship program and after attending the orientation I wasn’t sure that I would be able to give this much time to fellowship along with my studies, I thought let’s just start it. If I feel I won’t be able to do it I will leave it.

Project Work 1😥

Online Course 1: Living a Life of Purpose

Hmmm.. so as expected it’s going to be the same fictitious talk. Living a life of purpose, living your dreams and kam kam kam (working hard in life)…. Blah Blah Blah… 😖. Let’s watch what they will talk about in the first Session on this Saturday otherwise I am quitting this.

Session 1:😉

Here comes the turning point of my life. Yes, the way I thought things would be going in the first session. They are 180 phase shifts opposite to that. You heard me right. As the session begins, it is not like those ordinary university classes or sessions, where they hardly greet you with SALAM and straightforwardly come to the topic, speak their part and show it off. Bye Bye…🙄. Our session began with our program Manager Ma’am Rabeea greeting us with a beautiful energy, smile and she was so welcoming that she started to ask what we ate for our breakfast? Have you had something or not? Which showed that the majority of us were hungry. She encouraged us to try joining the sessions with a full tummy so that you can be more energetic and live out these sessions. (Tu yeh pehli cheez thi jo dil ko lag gyi… woh kehte haina maan me luddo phoota-Cadbery 😋). We also had a Project 1: Finding your ‘Why’ in first course work and so that we were asked to make a very fun loving “LIFE MAP”.

Firstly, Ma’am Rabeea showed us her life map and then we were asked to do the same. While thinking about what Good time/things I had and what Bad time I had or Bad things I pass through while making my Life Map. I realized that I never thought that I had countless achievements and good times in my life. All the time I was busy complaining about what I don’t have, what I could have. What I wish I could do and so on. I finally made my LIFE MAP and when we all shared our life maps with each other.

My Life Map😍

I realized how blessed I am. When I looked at my fellow Life map. We all have different achievements but Allah Almighty has blessed me with so much I never admired for.

AMAL Family😍

After knowing each other’s backgrounds, there aims, values, motivation, interest and abilities. I was really excited for my second session and project work. Here it comes….

Project Work 2

With all the excitement and enthusiasm developed in the first session, I came to know that we have a really exciting course this time. That is:

Online Course 1: Everyday Leadership😎

This time we had to write a blog on a super amazing topic fixing stuff around our-self that is the first step to lead yourself without any authority. I pinned out all my learning and happiness through this blog

Lead without authority

What I learned?

From these amazing experiences I learned to lead without authority in everyday life. To start off, I developed a habit of cleaning my room daily as the first thing of my day. I made a habit to stay focused while doing my work using Pomodoro technique and to reflect back on my daily tasks each night before going to bed. I try to thank Allah Almighty for the countless blessings He blessed me with. Here you can see my messy and untidy I was:

.

To how well organized I became. Alhamdulillah

Conclusion:

This roller coaster ride has been the best experience of my Life. AMAL has been the best thing that has happened to me.

Wohooooo…😉😍

This fellowship has made me thankful, disciplined and organized in all the matters of life. It helped me develop a growth mindset and to stay positive and calm in all the matters of my Life.
