It’s a famous saying that “a day spent with friends is always a day well spent”.

“Nice guys finish first”

It’s Friday morning and I woke up around 8 O’clock in morning with the name of Allah Almighty. I freshen up and was cleaning my room while thinking about what would be in mess? What am I going to do with my assignment and I also have my Amal course left a bit so from where I need to start? So, I thought of why not start with a cup of tea and I began to do so. When it was ready I came to my room and switched on my laptop along with that yummy tea I began listening to Amal course and making notes of the remaining videos. Suddenly one of my previous roommate who is a Chinese called me that she had a severe toothache and request me to accompany her to dentist as she won’t be able do communicate with them in Urdu. It was around 9:30am and I asked her to get ready and we will leave by 10am as my Amal course was about to complete. At 10 we left and visited the doctor and with the grace of Almighty Allah she is good now. When I came back to university I accompanied my friend to her hostel and made her comfortable to rest. When she felt asleep I came running to mess because I was hell hungry and as I reached there I came to know that we are left with only one more serving and the girl after me was requesting him to let her eat that last serving because she had been working since morning in lab for her thesis work so I decided to give that to her. I came to my room in order to place an order but unfortunately my call package was expired and I couldn’t make a call….so what now I decided to have something from GSSC(Girls Student Service Center). I went there but I could not find something according to my mood. Then I plan to go back to hostel to order something from outside and got my mobile recharged and finally while coming back to hostel I met with one of my BSc fellow and she was here to receive her degree we thought that why not celebrate that and as being victim of COVID-19 we won’t be have our graduation ceremony even so we plan to have lunch outside. Firstly, I helped her with the official requirements and finally we received her degree. We went to gourmet restaurant nearby and had some awesome lunch together and clicked lot’s of memories.

Finally when I was back in my hostel I saw the lady who cleans up our hostel was feeling cold. I asked her that is everything ok with her? She replied that she is feeling cold because she don’t have warm clothing to wear. As like all girls my closet are full, I decided to give a few to her. I selected some and gave those to her. While seeing that smile and hearing those prayers for my parents. I was overwhelmed and really happy on my way back to my room. Now I still had my work pending…what should I do? I began with the name of Allah wrote my PW in google doc and in the meantime last but not least one of my fellows requested me to help him with his cover letter and conduct an interview with him. I tied my best to help him out with that as well.

After so long today I made wonderful memories with my friends and tried to do few acts of kindness. And that was my day…
